Since I met you everywhere I turn there is KISS. I saw a Rock Honors show on Vh1 last where they sang tributes to KISS (Tommy Lee, Gilby Clark, the guy from Anthrax, Rob Zombie--a sort of supergroup) and then KISS came out themselves in full costume. In a way, it was disturbing--Gene Simmons was trying to lick Ace Freley and jutting his crotch in the audience, and Paul Stanley's hairy chest seriously needed waxing ala 40 Year Virgin. Outside of those superficial notes, they were awesome, especially compared to bands who are their age and touring! They seemed hip and wilder than most bands nowadays.
